Although the area covered was predominantly rural, a complex network of lines was established by the GWR and the Midland Railway with development continued into the early years of the 20th century by the construction of the GWR cut-off route from Stratford-upon-Avon to Cheltenham. Previously unpublished photographs survey the one surviving passenger line through the Cotswolds as well as routes such as the Midland & South Western Junction and the Midland line from Ashchurch to Redditch. c125 colour and b/w photos. 96 pages.
