As is now usual, the new edition of Railways Restored contains a very useful timetable supplement detailing public services on lines featured in the main body of the book.
The 2007 edition features new schemes which have opened since the previous edition was published and details those which are no longer running or open to the public. Whilst other guides to Britain’s preserved railways are on the market, none of them come close to matching this one for coverage, content and clarity.
