This is the concluding volume of this in-depth study of the Luftwaffe’s transport units during World War Two. Undoubtedly the workhorse that is synonymous with these units was the legendary Ju 52 and this aircraft gets appropriate exposure in its transport, parachute and airlift roles.

However, the units also deployed a wide range of interesting aircraft such as the massive Me 321 and Me 323 Gigant heavy-lift glider and six-engined transporter, as well as the impressive multi-engined Ju 290, Ju 352 Herkules, Ju 390 and the huge Bv 222 flying boat.
