One title which has been a regular in our catalogues since it was first published in 1984 is, abc Bus & Coach Recognition. The previous edition has now been out of print for a number of years so this new edition is long overdue. The book provides the enthusiast with a pocket guide to the great variety of bus and coach marques used in Britain today. Covering both single and double-deck bus designs along with coaches, a thumbnail sketch of each of the types is provided. Information given for each entry includes production statistics, where it was built, dimensions, the types of engines and transmissions used and the bodywork. 

The book also includes a representative selection of photographs of the various types covered. This new edition has been thoroughly revised and updated to take into account the vehicles which have been introduced since the last edition of abc Bus & Coach Recognition was published some six years ago. The book is written by Alan Millar, the editor of Buses magazine and a leading authority and commentator on the bus and coach industry.
